Steuerung über lineak an mein python-proggie
Vorteil: Zwischenschicht für die Commands von Taste oder Lirc

Server unabhängige Ausgabe, wird über irmp3 realisiert. Nein das abspielen übers Netz mit esd hat mich vor kleinere Probleme gestellt.
