esd -nobeeps -tcp -public& export ESPEAKER=192.168.1.5:16001 This will run esd in a mode where it will listen on port 16001 and allow connections from remote hosts, outputting a mixed stream of all connections to /dev/dsp. Some sound devices dont play too nicely with esd and it uses up a lot of %CPU...zaurus seems ok so far.
